Cllr Withams and Cllr Parker Re-Elected to Lead Warboys Parish Council

At its Annual Meeting in May, Warboys Parish Council unanimously re-elected Cllr Sheila Withams as Chair and Cllr John Parker as Vice-Chair for the coming municipal year.

Both councillors have demonstrated a strong commitment to Warboys, dedicating their time, knowledge, and energy to the benefit of the parish and its residents.

Cllr Sheila Withams, as Chair, has led the Council through a number of significant initiatives over the past year, including the development of the new community centre project, support for community events such as the May Day Fete. Her steady leadership and focus on community engagement have been key to the Council’s ongoing work to enhance life in the village.

Cllr John Parker, who has lived in Warboys for 18 years, continues in his role as Vice-Chair. He brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of village life, having served on the Parish Council for a number of years. In addition to his Vice-Chair duties, John is Chair of the Allotments Committee, and sits on several other Council committees. He also represents the Parish Council on the Warboys and District Day Centre Management Committee and the Warboys Old Village School Board of Trustees.

The Parish Council extends its sincere thanks to both Cllr Withams and Cllr Parker for their continued service and congratulates them on their re-election. Their leadership ensures that the Council remains focused on delivering real improvements for the residents of Warboys.
